Quote for 9/27/07

We shall not cease from exploration
and the end of all our exploring
will be to arrive where we started
and know the place for the first time

Down to my last hours here.

No, of course, I'm not packed. (who do you think we're talking about here????)

This is the part where I run around like a chicken with my head cut off.

Have said most of my goodbyes (yes, even that very hard one).

It was fun.

about that book of mine. . .

if you ordered my chapbook, I owe you a huge apology. Things have not *exactly* gone the way I thought they were and the holdup is because of me.

At this point, the wait is shorter than you think but if you want a refund just let me know.

publications

Not much writing these days. Working on the magical realism piece so I can enter it in a contest.

My only writing goal for this year is to place in some major contest.

I've had some work published this summer since we talked last. "We Talk With Our Hands" and "Swipe" appeared in the June issues of Shine and Static Movement, respectively.

"Faith" and "Maybe Today" appeared in the August issues of Long Story Short and Poor Mojo's respectively.

I'm trying to get stories that have fallen off the web reprinted and Yellow Mama has reprinted my erotic story "A Beautiful White Moon Against A Beautiful Black Sky." That journal will also republish another erotic work called "Home."

"You Changed Your Mind" has been accepted by Boston Literary Magazine.

"Los Prisioneros Pequenos" is available through the Shorts Program at Amazon.com, and "That Sweet-Smelling Stuff" was published in the September issue of SKiVE, available through Lulu.

I've got another 11 new works and 15 reprints out making the submission circuit. Just waiting and seeing.

Links to the works are(countering Beyonce): to the right, to the right;-)

blogging vs. falling in love

I'm been too busy with one to do the other.
