I sent this poem:
I wish I could stop the tears I cry.
I wish I could have made your dreams really fly.
I wish I could still hold your hand.
I wish I could understand
why you had to go.
I wish the reason I could know.
to poetry.com and I got a letter yesterday accepting it for publication--ha!
I'm going to send them a letter asking them not to publish the poem (not that it matters; my name is misspelled on the "PROOF" they sent) and let them know I was just "scamming" them with my submission;-)
