Time to get to that story. Draft #7. Have never written so many drafts of a story before. Changes in pov/tense, but I swear I'm getting closer to the *real* story.
I'm mining my memories for the one that's fueling this work, knowing that I'm about to give value to something in my past and at the same time be transformed by the very act of doing so.
