I always wanted to live in either Portland. Oregon or Maine-- made no difference to me.
Now, suddenly Maine is tempting me. I have beaches and lighthouses.
The plan has changed a bit-- drive through New England and take a chance on whereever.
"Just as long as it's a quaint town," my daughter says.
Just as long as there's water nearby, I think.
