Loved Don Knotts in "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken." Was it shown on the "Wonderful World of Disney"? I can't quite remember, but I do remember that Mutual of Omaha's "Wild Kingdom" always came on first. I'm thinking the movie was shown on Disney as well as "The Shakiest Gun in the West"-- loved that too.
Wasn't too crazy about Mr. Knotts as Andy's sidekick (I actually enjoyed "Matlock" more than "The Andy Griffith Show"-- yes, yes, I'm digressing yet again)-- he bothered me less than Goober, though, more than Gomer.
Angelina's ex, Billy Bob, said of him: "Don Knotts gave us the best character, the most clearly drawn, most perfect American, most perfect human ever."
